The post
Estuary | US-Based / Remote | Full-time – https://estuary.dev/
Estuary is a VC-backed, post–Series A startup powering real-time data replication and transform — from sub-second CDC replication to terabyte-scale OLAP data flows. We’re open-source, developer-first, and focused on making data movement radically simpler across both our Platform and Applications layers.
We’re hiring for:
Head of Engineering — Own the engineering function end-to-end as a partner to our founder CTO: strategy, people, delivery, and operations across a compact but high-leverage team. You’ll grow the leaders already running our teams, set technical strategy jointly with the CTO, and be accountable for what engineering ships and what it costs.
Senior Systems Engineer (Control & Data Plane) — Build the high-performance backbone of our platform: the orchestration, distributed state, and stream transport that keep pipelines at sub-second latency under massive throughput. You’ll work primarily in Rust on fault tolerance, consensus, and networking, and help set the bar for correctness and performance across the team.
Product Manager — Own product areas end-to-end, working closely with engineering and design to shape the roadmap and deliver a great developer experience. Engage with users, translate real-world use cases into product decisions, and help define how modern data infrastructure should feel to build with.
Head of Product Marketing — Lead product marketing as we bring real-time, agent-ready data pipelines to technical buyers, partnering closely with our Head of Marketing, Developer Relations, and the founders. Own positioning, messaging, launches, and competitive narrative, turning what our engineers ship into stories data teams actually care about.
Solutions Engineer — Partner with sales and customers from the first technical call through production, running discovery, demos, and proofs of concept for data engineering and platform teams. You’ll design CDC, streaming, and batch pipelines on Estuary, solve real integration problems hands-on, and feed what you learn back to Product and Engineering.
Customer Success Manager — Own the post-sale relationship for our data engineering and platform customers as our first CS hire. You’ll build onboarding, account health monitoring, and the expansion playbook from scratch while staying technical enough to resolve most issues yourself.
Senior Compliance Engineer — Own our GDPR and PCI DSS programs while keeping our audited SOC 2 and HIPAA programs running smoothly, alongside hands-on ownership of identity, endpoint, and SaaS estate management. This is a governance-first role for someone who has run a compliance program end-to-end, not just contributed to one.
What we’re looking for: People who care about building reliable, maintainable systems and processes and enjoy working with complex APIs, data flows, or customer relationships. We value curiosity, clear communication, and a willingness to learn.
Bonus points for experience with CDC tools, open source contributions, or fast-paced startups.
