The post

IMC Trading | Machine Learning Engineer | Amsterdam OR London | ONSITE | Full-time

IMC is a research-driven trading firm and has been a market maker since 1989. Our researchers, traders and engineers work as one team on systems we build ourselves, trading across global markets.

We want ML engineers to shorten the path from a research idea to a live trading strategy. You’ll work with quant researchers, HPC specialists and software engineers in one of two overlapping areas:

- ML research engineering: distributed training pipelines, experiment automation, and making training faster and cheaper to run at scale. - ML performance engineering: low-latency, real-time inference, and getting the most out of GPUs.

Stack includes: PyTorch, CUDA

We’re looking for 3+ years of hands-on ML systems work and production Python code you’ve owned over time. You should understand what happens beneath the high-level APIs and measure performance before you optimize. Depth in distributed training, GPU optimization, real-time inference or numerics at scale is a big plus.
