Helmsted is an AI-native operating system for wealth advisors of complex households, providing planning, tax and estate analysis, meetings and a client portal run by agents. The role is to build the agents and underlying intelligence (evals, long-term memory, retrieval, model routing, and secure access to client data) on a small team working with pilot firms.
What you’ll do
- Build agents and the intelligence behind them
- Develop evals and systems that improve from their own usage
- Implement long-term memory and retrieval over millions of documents
- Design model routing and cost strategies
- Ensure secure, permissioned access to client data
What they’re looking for
- Experience building production ML/AI systems (implied by role)
- Fintech experience is a plus

You'd build the agents and the intelligence behind them with our CTO: evals and systems that improve from their own usage, long-term memory, retrieval over millions of documents, model routing and cost, and secure, permissioned access to client data. Fintech experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Remote in the US today, with eventual relocation as the team centralizes. Paid sick leave; health insurance and 401(k) under discussion. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis.
