Close is a CRM for small and midsize sales teams with 11,000+ paying customers and an AI agent product (Chloe). Hiring senior/staff backend engineers to work on CRM-focused AI features and Backend Platforms, and hiring a senior marketing engineer to own close.com frontend and analytics.
What you’ll do
- Work on CRM: agentic enrichment, AI search, making the CRM usable by any MCP agent
- Work on Backend Platforms: build paved roads for engineers (API patterns, observability) and guardrails for agent-written code
- Own motion, interactivity, performance, SEO, and conversion tracking for close.com (Marketing role)
- Build tools so Marketing can ship without waiting on engineering (Marketing role)
What they’re looking for
- Experience shipping LLM features to real users and owning production systems
- Elasticsearch experience is a big plus (CRM team)
- 5+ years building marketing sites with Segment/Amplitude-style analytics (Sr. Software Engineer, Marketing)
