Hover builds software that generates 3D models of buildings used by construction and insurance industries to derive metrics, estimate construction/repair costs, and accelerate claims processing. The role is on the 3D Measurements team and focuses on designing and implementing systems for 3D modeling, reconstruction, or CAD-related software with a strong foundation in geometry and 3D math.

We are writing software that generates 3D models of buildings. The construction and insurance industry uses those models to derive metrics, estimate construction/repair cost (think water damage due to flooding, wind damage etc.) and accelerate claims processing. Our long term ambition is to have an accurate and up to date 3D model (digital twin) of every building on the planet. Hover is expanding the team on many fronts. The 3D Measurements team in particular is looking for talented & experienced software engineers that have proven experience designing and implementing systems for 3D modeling, reconstruction, or CAD-related software and that bring a solid foundation in geometry and 3D math.
