Principal Flight Software Engineer
K2 Space
K2 Space is building very large, high-power satellites to enable a new class of spacecraft enabled by heavy-lift launch vehicles. The software team builds the stack primarily in Rust and develops mission-critical code for propulsion, attitude control, and power systems. Multiple engineering roles are open including flight software, ground software, test infrastructure, and OS/platform engineers.
What you’ll do
- Write mission-critical code that controls and tests propulsion systems
- Write mission-critical code that controls and tests attitude control systems
- Write mission-critical code that controls and tests power systems
- Develop software as part of a Rust-based stack
