Projects show what you can do when nobody told you to: side projects, open source, coursework, or work projects big enough to describe on their own.
When to include them
- You're early in your career or changing fields.
- A project proves a skill the job needs that your jobs don't show.
- The work is public and impressive.
What to write for each
- Name and a link, if people can see it.
- One line on what it is, for someone who's never heard of it.
- Your part if it was a team.
- A result: users, stars, a launch, a grade, something that changed.

Keep it short
Two to four projects, the most relevant first.
In JSON Resume, projects go in projects, each with a name, description, highlights and url, and every theme shows them.
