I joined the team during the initial phase of planning the migration of the monolithic Order Management system in Odoo to multiple services. Initially, I played a crucial role as a senior developer in the Purchase Tool, making substantial contributions to its development. Following this, I was promoted to leadership, where I spearheaded the formation of a new team for the development of the Demand Planning Tool. Subsequently, I transitioned to manage the Supplier Portal, overseeing a team of five members.
  • Supplier Portal (Go) - Leading a completely new team for maintaining Supplier Portal which manages supplier product assortments. Portal is being used in 44 countries and help in placing around 124K Purchase Orders with supplier.
  • Demand Planning (Go and python) - a tool for minimizing excess inventory in warehouses using forecasting. Got to lead team of 3 developers. Setting up the initial boostrapping the system. Onboarding python developer for go development. Delivering the product on time.
  • Purchase tool (python) - a web portal for placing order with supplier. Participated in setting up the initial bootstrapping the system, integration with migration tool alembic, integration with new relic, scaling to multiple countries (live in approx 25 countries).

  • Integrated 3rd party system (Hypertrack) in Provider App for google map based visit tracking. Around 300 CGs are tracked through Provider App. Additionally, worked on IVR based visit tracking. Approx 500 CGs mark there attendance with IVR.
  • Call Center System - Developed from sratch the complete call center solution for our Sales, Customer Service, and Supply team. Integration of Exotel and Freshdesk. Developed Agent management and Call monitoring dashboard
  • Allocation System - Worked on scoring based system for Caregiver allocation. Using historical visits data the calculation would suggest best provider. Improved the allocation by enabling auto allocation.
  • Lead Management System (LMS)- Designed, Defined Requirement and Implemented Auto-caller system which picked up lead based on priority and generated phone calls for agents. Various 3rd party like JustDail, AskLila, Sulekha, Quikr, Webunbounce, etc. were integrated with our Lead Management System. Integration of Webengage was done for events based SMS, email or Customer App notification generation. Daily 400 leads were created and 5 agents actioning around 1200 leads through LMS
  • Infrastructure Management - Complete handling of AWS Production Environment which included maintenance, regular deployment, performance and availability monitoring. Configured New-Relic for server monitoring.

My 8 year long journey involved working around ODIN Server (Order Management System). The server was capable of handling stock trading with different exchanges i.e NSE, BSE, MCX, NCDEX. Got great experince working with a mission-critical application. ODIN was the most dominant product with around 75% market share in Indian Trading Market.
  • ODIN IOCP - Design to implementation and Development, single-handedly delivered ODIN IOCP Module . Improved the capacity of ODIN Server to handle Number of Active TCP Socket from 800 connnections to 5000 connections. Replaced the old polling based implementation with IO Completion port. This enabled reduction in Number of ODIN server and reducing the overall cost for Brokers
  • ODIN Server - Developed and Maintained the ODIN Server. Handled the team of 5 Developer. Optimized server for increasing the Number of OPS (order per second).
  • ODIN LBS - TCP Load Balancer. Used the same ODINIocp module to handle huge number of TCP connection.
  • Cross Compilation of C++ Codebase for ODIN Server - The code base was tightly coupled with Windows environment. Wrote wrappers for compiling the same source code base in Linux.
  • Graph Feed Server - Using broadcast data building charting data for different timeframe(e.g. 1min, 5min, 15min, etc.). Developed and Maintained the complete product. Optimize drastically through bulk writing in database.
  • Tick By Tick NSE Feed for Algorithmic Trading. - Complete design and development. High Frequency broadcast consumed by the server and creating order book efficiently. Instruction level optimization for achiving gains in nanoseconds.
