Architected and launched TS-bPASS, India’s first unified building permission platform — a single-window system rolled out across 143 ULBs in Telangana. Built a 14-member team in 2 months, developed the platform in just 3 months, and delivered under extreme urgency — working day and night with my network to make the rollout possible. One of the largest e-governance implementations in India’s urban development sector.
- Enabled 2L+ approvals and collected more than $1B in government revenue through a self-certification workflow.
- Designed and delivered 20+ configurable municipal workflows, giving each ULB the flexibility to create their own approval flows and assign officers at different levels.
- Rapidly scaled a 14-member engineering team within 2 months and coordinated execution across backend (Rails) and frontend (React).

Built Washapp from the ground up — from coding the first Android + Rails app to raising $500K and scaling operations to thousands of customers. Faced intense competition from food delivery giants and COVID-led shutdown, which taught invaluable lessons in customer behavior, supply-side dependency, and the realities of scaling ops-heavy B2C startups.
- 2016 – As CTO, built and launched the Android + Rails app for on-demand laundry/dry-cleaning delivery, starting with a small community aggregator model.
- 2017 – Transitioned from aggregator to building in-house laundry facilities; streamlined end-to-end operations covering every detail from pickup to delivery.
- 2017 – Raised ~$500K USD from friends, family, and HNIs to expand tech, facilities, and customer acquisition.
- 2017 Dec – Took over as CEO, moving beyond tech to lead sales, marketing, operations, and team management.
- 2018–2019 – Served 5,000+ active customers and processed 2L+ garments; scaled Washapp into one of Hyderabad’s leading B2C laundry startups.
- 2018–2019 – Faced major logistics challenges: Swiggy and Zomato offered delivery boys much higher salaries, leading to a sudden 50% drop in our fleet within a single month — driving up costs and disrupting service reliability.
- 2020 – COVID-19 forced shutdown; the journey reinforced deep learnings in customer experience, operational resilience, and strategic differentiation.
Backend Engineer (Rails)
Led backend development for two high-impact products: (1) LVPEI Mobile App, an Android EMR solution deployed across 13 states and 1000+ health centers, and (2) a Social Media Management Platform for political leaders, integrating with Google, Facebook, Twitter, and other networks for large-scale content publishing and analytics.
- Developed LVPEI Mobile App (Android tablet EMR APP) as a single developer — digitized seven stages of eye check-ups, deployed across 13 states, and scaled to 1000+ primary health centers.
