I am PHP backend and devops developer. Since 2015 I've been building fashion e-comerece platform Glami currently operating in 16 countries. Hired as 4th developer.
I went thru many roles and solved a wide scale of challenges. From product ones, data processing ones to DevOps ones.
From designing and implementing fundamental pillars of the whole system, thru implementing API for mobile app, running heavy loaded Nginx to seeking inefficient MySQL requests with negative impact for performance using a wide range of monitoring tools. Both in-house and external. And last but not least I am operating the whole production and development/staging environment in a team of two.
Although each field needs different technology my favourites are PHP, Ansible, Docker, MySQL, Grafana, Kibana, YAML and other ones.
All tasks I do, I do with a strong focus on efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectivity with a strong understanding of business context. And because I love calm sleep, I test things, of course.
