Projects

  • Platform Migration: At this time, IUS Innovation wanted to make their own IT-infrastructure more efficient. Lars was tasked of spearheading a team to do evaluation and migration to a new platform. The choice was to migrate everything to Microsofts Azure platform from the current mix of AWS and VPS servers.
  • Business Region Örebro Länstrafik: A custom built web application for managing public transport business to business customers. The project is built using Java and Kotlin and uses a micro service architecture.
  • Ruter Mobility Platform: Ruter is the biggest public transport provider in Norway, based in Oslo. This project was part of a complete overhaul of their IT-infrastructure, supporting the transportation, based on micro services and event sourcing. It also included plans for integrating multiple different types of transportation normally not organized by public transport, into the same platform. Lars tasks included developing micro services that acts as an interface for other transportation companies to hook into. Mainly though, Lars was tasked to lead the design and implementation of a new Devops structure, complete with CI/CD pipelines for all teams to use when developing micro services.
  • Företagsportalen, Västtrafik: Företagsportalen (The business portal), is Västtrafiks B2B platform for their public transport business. Lars was tasked with developing and maintaining the api backend used to store and manage customer data, ticket data and payment details. The backend also has the capability for customers to log in and manage their own tickets. This application is based on PHP, using the Laravel framework.
  • Buy4Change: Buy4Change was the first development project for an external client Lars took on while still in training. The application was constructed with a backend API using PHP and Laravel and a frontend application using Vue.js
  • Pyttenytt: This was a self funded effort to make a super local news website, which consisted of the site itself together with a payment solution integrated in the form of Stripe. This is Lars first real take on development. As this project had next to no budget, Lars had to make a site himself, using Wordpress, and self learn to code a child theme fit for the purpose.
