  • Led and prioritized work for a team of core SREs to handle cross-cutting engineering projects which enabled the organization to more easily identify and approach hurdles that prevented service migration to GCP

  • Transitioned Mailchimp's manual deployment process which deployed large releases every 5 weeks to a continuous deployment and delivery pattern that deploys up to 150 times a day

  • Established capacity and utilization metrics to better track our infrastructure usage and improved estimates needed for additional infrastructure to support growth

  • Planned and led a major initiative to upgrade hundreds of our business critical servers to latest OS and hardware with zero downtime

  • Implemented tooling that improved observability and fault-tolerance for our application's load-balancers(nginx) and http servers(apache)

  • Added site-wide external monitoring for the highest volume endpoints across our entire infrastructure

  • Automated the database migration process which reduced database related incidents and eliminated toil for the database engineers

  • Created logging pipeline using EKS to ship orphaned EC2 logs into centralized ELK stack which improved visibility for developers and support agents
