I am a seasoned developer with experience dating back to 2003. Currently, I play a key leadership role, leading a 12 engineer team and working extensively on a self-hosted Geolocation application. My daily work involves architecture design, technology choice, coding, and deployment. Over the years my focus has shifted and, since 2017, I have primarily been working with Phoenix/Phoenix Liveview, Elixir/OTP, and PostgreSQL. I have hands-on experience with a wide variety of other technologies, too, including ClickHouse, Kafka, SQLite, Grafana, TailwindCSS, PostGIS, TimescaleDB, Maplibre, Redis, and AlpineJS. Beyond honing these skills, I am proud to have built the core product of Tag-IP from scratch.
