Continued to work at Imagine Communications Group as a Mid Level PHP developer, with additional responsibilities
Stepped into a greater deal of responsibility; mentoring junior developers, hosting weekly standups and taking ownership of entire development projects
Designed and built service delivery automations which consisted of but were not limited to; an optimized drive time calculation system for installation crews using Google maps APIs and a customer booking application which streamlined the customer installation date selection process.
Gained a great deal of exposure working with major GIS tools including PostGIS, Google Maps, Leaflet and Mapbox-GL to visualize large business datasets at optimal performance for marketing and project deployment
Played a key role in migrating the team's version control setup to Gitlab and redesigning the team's git workflow and release processes to regulate a constantly growing codebase
Refactored and optimized multiple key components of the company's major business processes, including but not limited to reducing a customer viability check from seconds to a single centisecond.
Awarded a Personal Achievement Award for my contribution throughout 2019
