As a procurement engineer I'm responsible for internal and external supplier accounts, I:
- Assure excellent supplier quality from qualification till ‘end of life’.
- Measure and create performance reports with the most efficient tools using Data Science,
whether it is Python scripts in a Jupyter Notebook or small containerized application in the Cloud. - Focus on proactive and preventive actions to achieve continuous improvement of the quality of the supplied parts.
- Perform and maintain all needed activities for parts qualification, change or Off-spec verification and piloting during mass production.
- Provide appropriate information to manufacturing for formal process introduction.
- Coordinate and perform supplier audits.
