About

Full-stack and platform engineer with 10+ years across startups, scaleups, and enterprise and government environments. Works as a collaborative member of cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams while operating at platform/principal scope; modernizing legacy systems, designing scalable backend services and distributed-system patterns in Rust, Go, Node.js, and TypeScript, and building React/TypeScript and Vue/TypeScript front-ends. Deep experience in digital identity (OIDC, OAuth2, JWT, SSI/DID), Git-based CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, and AI-accelerated engineering; including authoring deterministic, hash-verifiable governance tooling in Rust and building governed agentic workflows with an agentic harness and MCP, not only consuming AI tools. Pairs hands-on delivery with the mentorship, design records, and stakeholder communication that keep teams aligned.

Projects Experience

Projects Experience

  • Statecraft

    - Present

The governed agentic delivery control plane: tenants (per-customer GitHub App installations), a factory that stamps applications from a versioned template contract, a fleet plane that operates them on Hetzner K3s, and a governance UI. Rebuilt ground-up in July 2026 from its Open Agentic Platform predecessor (now archived) and running in production as the first app of its own template.

    • Made the specification the contract and enforced it in CI: markdown specs compile to a deterministic, queryable registry, and a coupling gate fails any merge where code touches a spec-owned path without the owning spec changing with it, catching spec/code drift before merge rather than in review.

    • Designed the two-plane model: the control plane is one instance of the EnRaHiTu template (Encore.ts, rauthy OIDC, and embedded Raft-replicated SQLite in a single container with zero managed-infrastructure dependencies) and every tenant application it stamps is another, independent one; the platform runs in production on its own template under Flux GitOps.

    • Modeled tenancy on per-customer GitHub App installations, with the factory confined by spec to a single versioned template.toml contract (it cannot reach into template internals) and the fleet placing stamped applications as container + volume + ingress units on Hetzner K3s.

    • Proved the governance thesis at full scale by rebuilding the platform ground-up from its predecessor in days, not months: the spec corpora were rewritten first, agents implemented under the coupling gate, and the old flagship was archived with nothing lost but the code.

  • spec-spine

    - Present

A typed, hash-verifiable authority ledger over a markdown specification corpus: an installable Rust library and CLI that refuses code which drifts from its owning specification at PR time. Designed as a domain-agnostic governance core that Statecraft layers semantics onto through a documented overlay contract.

    • Built as three Rust crates (typed schema, core engine, thin CLI) behind a JSON-in / JSON-out facade that is the stable FFI seam for host-language bindings; the napi, pyo3, and cgo bindings that would wrap it are specified in a design document, not yet built.

    • Deterministic by construction: every artifact-producing function is a pure function of (config, file contents), and a CI gate recompiles the corpus across four target triples (x86_64 and aarch64 over Linux, macOS, and Windows), failing unless the emitted registry and index shard trees are byte-identical.

    • Published and live at v0.8.0 across three registries: library and CLI on crates.io (spec-spine-core, spec-spine-cli), plus prebuilt per-platform binaries that need no Rust toolchain on npm and PyPI/uvx (spec-spine).

  • Platform components

    - Present

    • enrahitu (Encore.ts / TypeScript): the EnRaHiTu template chassis (Encore.ts + rauthy + hiqlite + Turso/libSQL), a self-contained single-container application core with zero managed-infrastructure dependencies; the Encore toolchain is vendored and driven as a library, with no CLI anywhere in the loop.

    • statecraft-cli (Rust): one binary, two faces; Statecraft's governance verbs as CLI subcommands for humans and as an MCP server for agents, so coding agents request approvals, check spec-code coupling, and trigger factory stages natively under governance.

    • tenant-emit / tenant-tail (Rust): emit builds an Ed25519-signed governance-certificate.json from a finished run directory; tail re-verifies that paperwork offline, identity-free and read-only, with zero trust in the producer.

    • action-gate / attest-ledger / trust-window / canonical-keysort-json (Rust): extracted governance primitives; a pure deterministic decision gate (Allow / Deny / Degrade with a stable config hash), an append-only hash-linked signed record ledger with an independent verifier, a rolling-window trust scorer, and canonical JSON at the hash boundary.
