• Senior Software Engineer, John Deere - Intelligent Solutions Group

  • Designed and implemented a new cloud solution from ground-up to communicate with agricultural telematic devices. This application is called EMMP.

  • Also created the whole AWS infrastructure under which EMMP runs.

  • EMMP is responsible for setting up and controlling agricultural equipment on the field. As such, it is a key component inside John Deere ecosystem.

  • As the prime Subject Matter Expert in said tool, I am the only person in the company with such knowledge.

  • Responsible for the process of test, deployment and troubleshooting of EMMP.

  • Created the cloud environment for a previously on-prem agricultural software called Guidefleet.

  • Worked as a developer for said software, both in backend and frontend.

  • Acted as a technical mentor for the team in Brazil, and led the implementation of TDD (test driven development) for the team.

  • Won the brazilian Hackathon with a project to provide communication between a mobile device and a tractor CAN network.

• System architect, John Deere - Financial

  • Acted as the main architect for Latin America, responsible for reviewing and defining software architecture for all units in this continent.

  • Led the creation of the first AWS-based system in John Deere Latin America, called Parts & Services

  • Led the migration of a monolithic on-premise system architecture to a microservice architecture on the cloud.

  • Worked along with architects from North America, Europe and Asia to define new API and system standards for the company.

  • Worked with a multidepartamental team to create the Scorecard Project, which automated 80% of the credit analysis formed in Brazil.

  • Won the JDF President Awards with the Scorecard Project.
