IT Engineer, lover of technology in general and, especially, the development of software. During my professional career, my tasks have been oriented to development of web applications with Java language and another technologies related with them, so much frontend as backend. In last years, I have been developing tasks related to architectures design without ignoring the management side within the team, which I'm used to look after to with special attention. I consider that personal relationship within the work team are basic and very important in order to everything works right. Personal skills that I highlight from myself are the desire to learn, listen to others as well as my self-taught facility to learn new technologies. Another strong point is the orientation to quality always looking to give and create the best product. The intensive search for this feature often leads me not to be able to manage the pressure in the team. This negative point I always have in mind to seek continuous improvement of it. In personal side, I consider myself a very happy person, open-minded who encourage the good environment in the team. Among my hobbies are the sport, the nature (animals, beach, mountain...) and the folk music from Andalucía. Several of the kind of that music are the flamenco and carnival music from Cádiz.

Work Experience (17)

May 2025 - Current
Senior Software Engineer
Broadcom (formerly VMware)
Project: Tanzu Platform Hub — Warehouse. Tanzu Platform Hub is a web app to manage the different clusters based on Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes. Warehouse is the Hub subsystem that aggregates product, tile and release metadata from the TanzuNet API, a Git-based metadata repository and Bitnami into a single versioned artifact (product-warehouse) consumed by Hub's Entity Data Service to power the catalog, Marketplace and Upgrade Planner experiences. I am the primary developer of the Warehouse CLI and its generation pipeline, working with Tanzu Platform Engineering on infrastructure and test environments.
  • Implementation of different use cases in the THub platform based on reactive stack (Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor, Netty)
  • Design and build the Warehouse CLI (Java 25, Spring Boot 4, Spring Shell 4) from scratch: a CLI tool create to generate a software catalog collecting information from different sources
  • Usage exhaustive of different AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code and Gemini
  • Configuration and usage of different frameworks used in AI generation like bMad
  • Design, develop and maintain the JSON Schema contracts for internal sources used as part of the Product Warehouse artifact.
  • Use of tools to generate Java clients based on OpenAPI spec
  • Implementation of business processes using workflows based on the framework Temporal (https://temporal.io/).
  • Design the CLI release pipeline into a PR-based, automerged flow gated by a pre-GA ingestion test against real Tanzu Hub environments.
  • Fixed production issues
  • Review of Pull Request from the team
Jan 2024 - Jun 2025
Senior Software Engineer
Broadcom (formerly VMware)
Project: Tanzu CSP (T-CSP) / Tanzu Platform Console. T-CSP is the identity, account, organization and notification backend behind the Tanzu Platform Console, the Broadcom-operated successor to VMware's Cloud Services Platform (vCSP) that authenticates and authorizes access to every Tanzu SaaS product. The work covered the data migration from VMware's shared vCSP to a dedicated Broadcom-owned deployment (DEV → STG → PRD), the post-go-live stabilization, and a sustained simplification and KTLO effort over a large set of Java/Spring Boot microservices, Go notification services and the console frontend.
  • Built from scratch the Java data-migration CLI for SendGrid and AWS SNS/SQS with a multi-run-safe design, and executed the STG and PRD rehearsal and final migration cut-overs.
  • Ran the production go-live and the post-go-live stabilization, fixing the regressions that appeared right after the cut-over.
  • Drove the post-go-live orphan-data cleanup across STG and PRD (SendGrid, authorization contexts, databases, OAuth apps), authoring the DB remediation scripts run by operations.
  • Owned the legacy-service clean-up: decommissioned the onboarding microservice end to end (UI, API, database, Helm) and removed deprecated integrations (VIP, Supercollider) from several services.
  • Owned the API documentation epic: split internal/external Swagger output, fixed a production rendering break and migrated the services' documentation to Broadcom-hosted portals.
  • Designed and piloted a new Java-library release process with tagged, Artifactory-published pipeline builds.
  • Fixed Helm/Prometheus deployment regressions, removed unused AWS resources (SNS/SQS, S3) and enabled pre-merge integration tests across the microservices.
  • Resolved a production monitoring incident and customer-reported defects in IdP federation login and commerce onboarding.
  • Authored the L1 and L2/L3 on-call runbooks and contributed extensively to the team's Confluence knowledge base (alert runbooks, how-to guides, engineering decision records on libraries and API management).
  • Fixed production issues
  • Reviewed of Pull Request from the team
Jan 2023 - Feb 2024
Senior Software Engineer
Broadcom (formerly VMware)
Project: Main Catalog (VMware/Bitnami Application Catalog). Main Catalog is the backend system of record behind the VMware Application Catalog and the Bitnami Application Catalog, exposing products, branches, versions, distros, platforms, licenses and lifecycle policies through a REST API, a Go CLI and a versioned OpenAPI specification consumed by generated Java and Go clients. The team's goal was to turn Main Catalog from a downstream consumer of legacy systems (ANVIL, VAC Admin Panel, app-catalogue models) into the authoritative source of truth feeding the Application Library UI and the version-tracker pipeline. I worked across the whole stack: service, API specification, CLI and ETL.
  • Developed the product domain model end-to-end (OpenAPI spec, service and CLI)
  • Owned the evolution and release cadence of the OpenAPI specification, the source of truth for generated Java and Go clients.
  • Built and enriched the ETL feed and drove the phased cut-over from legacy sources (ANVIL, VAC Admin Panel) to Main Catalog as the authoritative source.
  • Built cross-source data-quality checks comparing Main Catalog against legacy systems, hardened against upstream changes and noise.
  • Hardened the error handling of the Go CLI (mc) and kept it aligned with the service model.
  • Led the Spring Boot 2.7 → 3.0 and JobRunr upgrades and removed dead code and unused dependencies.
  • Built the ETL GitLab CI pipeline and configured Wavefront observability and Kubernetes configuration for the service.
  • Defined and scoped work for the team: API redesigns, data-model extensions, defect triage and cross-team data-quality issues with the Content team.

Senior Java Developer
MyValue Solutions – Finleap Connect
During this period, I wasn’t dedicated to a specific project and client but my work was oriented to the company products which are sold to final clients. One of the products which I was working was “Payments Initialization”. The goal of this project is to create a backend platform to initialize the process to request a payment. This backend platform could be invoked by another system or by a frontend solution (already developed by MyValue team). Another role developed in these few months is the homogenization of SDLC of products because there are many dispersion in that. Currently, I’m involve in CICD pipelines on GitLab solutions deploying the services against Kubernetes cluster based on global Helm Charts.
  • Design modular and scalable architecture in Java based on SpringBoot framework: that architecture should be highly configurable and adaptable for the different client requirements, like different security stacks, different deployment platform, different database, etc.
  • Supervising the development team tasks, teaching, coaching and code reviews.
  • Defining the pipelines in GitlabCI to comply CI/CD approach within this project and future projects based on the same architecture. This pipelines should cover from building the app, testing the app, checking the code coverage up to deploy automatically in Kubernetes cluster.
  • Develop a framework for developers based on Spring boot in order to align the developments.
  • Management of bare-metal Kubernetes cluster on premise.
  • PoC with Azure Kubernetes Service deploying demo solution on that.
  • Technical Learning Sessions for the team (OpenApi, Docker, Kubernetes, JWT…)
